Saw that BJ Flores' next opponent has changed, I'm not saying that he's in easy, but this latest choice is 13-1 and just lost a decision to Ryan Coyne, believe it or not. Yes, THE Ryan Coyne, the Missouri football player that appeared on Contender and makes a living out of fighting stiffs on Rumbletime Promotion cards in St.Louis. For a World Ranked Cruiser like Flores to be fighting 11-3-1 Paul Jennette, a eighty-year-old Hugo Pineda, and now this David McNemar is an insult to our intelligence. Next month it will have been TWO YEARS since his surprisingly good effort against Danny Green for the IBO title, it's hard to argue with BC when he calls BJ's career a fraud.

I think that is my biggest problem with fighters who talk shit....I tend to hate the ones that never back it up...like Flores...but the ones who do, EVEN if they lose....I tend to respect more!

Agreed. The thing that I dislike most about BJ is that not only isn't he proving anything in the Ring, but unlike some guys who don't realize they're being protected, I have a sneaking suspicion that BJ ASOLUTELY KNOWS he's never going to be facing these guys he's talking smack about. |

Guys like that are bad for boxing.... Eactly, they really are. I know some would say that BJ does no harm, he's popular with the fans, does good commentary, signs autographs, and that's all well and good..........but it's all built on top of a lie, no matter how you slice it. |

I got a call from Team Freddie Roach yesterday about David Rodriguez....another Fruad and guy who has followed this route....they asked me WHY I thought he was a fraud...when I explained they said, "it worked for Hagler".....I said WHAT? Hagler didn't have an EASY road! they said they judge by how he is in the gym..... no comment

Hagler didn't have an EASY road! they said they judge by how he is in the gym..... no comment LOL, yeah, Marvin had a cakewalk early in his career fighting patsies like Benny Briscoe, Cyclone Hart, Willie The Worm Monroe, etc., who the hell are they trying to kid? ;D As for David, we had him as a chat guest one time on BoxingBB and he couldn't stay on the subject of boxing, all he could talk about was partying, and this was already after he was like 25-0. I wrote him off at that point, didn't figure he was every going to take it seriously, and he's not surprised me since then. |
