Well, after watching the same Ayala that I had AHEAD of Arthur Abraham for 9 rounds before getting stopped in the 12th not able to go a round with Lemieux, it's hard not be impressed. This was my first time seeing him, so I'm going to hold off grabbing a seat till I see him again (I still have some defensive questions that Friday's short fight didn't fully answer), but I'm definitely in line to climb aboard.

Also I love Brian Vera and how he keeps beating guys he shouldn't ... I will say this very quietly but Marlon Wright did a good job in that fight

Yeah, I know exactly what your mean about his Defense predicated on his Offense, but who knows if that's normal or just due to the quick nature of the opening round from both guys. I'm relying on Russ Anber's long tutelage more than I am anything I saw in two minutes the other night. We'll see how good it is when he gets into a fight where things actually settle down and get into a flow. I sure as hell what to see him again though!!!!

Wright and my first thought was that Vera would have to knock Demers down for a 20 count to get a KO but he did a good job. |
