They all remind me of the race car driver...the U.K. guy...Stewart....did you ever hear him call a race? That is how the boxing guys sound to me...as a matter of fact, I always think its him!

LOL, yeah, I grew up on Jackie Stewart. I used to love the way he would always call it "Motor Racing" and never just simply "Racing".

Another good Shobox with the Tripleheader last night. They really are mining Gold with the Shobox concept, and what's funny is that what they're spending is only a fraction of the cost of another networks "mistakes".

That was a very good triple header although I had a good laugh at the announcers talking about how close the Robinson/Porter fight was and how astonished they were that it wasn't. I had it 97-92 and actually let the announcers talk me into giving Robinson a round or two so really I had it 98-91.
Smith was a great test for Guerrero. I don't care for Dallas Jr. at all ... all he wanted to do the whole fight is hug Lane. Ref should have taken a point or two for holding.
Good card overall ... I wonder if Nick Charles took a turn for the worse

Dallas won the fight...no question...I like him and think my girl Jackie Kallen has another winner in him for sure. I think Smith-Guerrero was A LOT closer than they scored it and I agree with MH on the Porter fight.....As for ShowTime....another GREAT card and production! AGAIN....look at ESPN from Friday...all that BS we are forced to watch...OLD news we talked about all week hearing it from that BK clown....then the HBO broadcast, with the team I agree with MH on which is usually solid...was not! Max was good, but Papa had a weak night! Maybe it was just my feed, but it kept cutting out and it was tough to watch! Again, considering the low low low budget Showtime works with, lower than ESPN and HBO, they come out every time with a good product....no matter who is doing it...except that Gus Johnson!

Papa was a bit week Saturday night which is off for him ... the guy replacing Nick Charles is alright but doesn't seem real knowledgeable but is a solid commentator. It is hard to fault BK for old news considering that is the only time they are allowed to talk about boxing on ESPN. Your boy Flores was there though LOL. I still am laughing over him saying "we" when referring to Haye.

The funny thing is I HATE him as a fighter, but I think he does a good job in the studio. BK thinks who he is! They COULD cover the latest news....but they don't. They could also JUST broadcast the fights...maybe more of the under card and skip the "studio" which WOULD make it better....between Joe T, Teddy and the "studio crew" it is really hard to stomach!

Billy C.- I was going berserk with the opening of FNF last week, I don't mind Atlas and Tessitore's 5 min profiling of Judah and Sadam Ali, you EXPECT that to open things up, but then to send it back to the Studio for what was close to 15 mins of Kenney, Dan Rafael (he should NEVER appear on the show until after the first fight has taken place) and finally BJ Flores all blathering on about Pac-Floyd like that was breaking news, it was too much. I was online with Erik Killin while that was going on and said "IS THERE EVER GOING TO BE ANY ACTUAL BOXING TONIGHT OR JUST THIS SHIT?" and he was like, "Calm down, Dave" ;D

BC- Did you notice a few weeks ago they made the mistake(for them) of putting up a clock between fights that was counting down time until the Main Event started? You could actually feel the karma of half a million boxing fans channel surfing and keeping an eye on the clock to know when to turn back ;D
