thye both quit! I never thought Dirrell faked it....UNTIL I got word from HIS CAMP that he did. He was out of gas and was feeling "rocked by every shot" in the last TWO rounds of the fight! I will admit, I was caught off guard, but when I watched it again...had to agree. Billy C- The night of the fight I was adamant that Dirrell had NOT faked it, I was chatting with Plowboy at the time and he will tell you how passionate I was in defending him, but for me the most telling part was when they followed it up with 360 Fight Camp on Showtime (which was after AA-Dirrell but just before Kessler-Froch) and you got the actual TIMEFRAME on Dirrell's reactions. He appeared dissheveled during the interview following the fight, but then when you see the OTHER Showtime Cameras picking him up talking to Gary Shaw BEFORE the Gray Interview and he seems fully coherent, then you realize that was before he ever talked to Gray, then it really casts his crediblity into question.

I agree Murph...I too thought it was real UNTIL I was told otherwise...and then looked into it more and have thought twice since.

Interesting ... I didn't see the 360 ... if he was indeed faking it then the kid needs to give up boxing and go into acting because that was an award winner.

I feel like going back on all my Calzaghe fights and dubbing that in as his Ring Walk Music Ha ha ha....Throw in a best of video and play the song like they used to do with Pink Floyd songs ....Crazy enough you start to notice Calzaghe twitching a lot and his slp flurries always seem to happen the second after Clapton says "Cocaine" and the guitar solo begins....I think I would bust an gut laughing if it actually happened..... Hey in all honesty I was shocked when it came out about Joe and that CRAP POISON....He just never seemed the type at all.....I would have been less shocked if he was found to wear womens under garmets

Mike- I keep hoping Showtime will show them all again when the S-6 finally winds down. I've been disappointed that even on Showtime On Demand, you can only get the most current one, and then only after it's been aired multiple times and isn't available on the regular Showtime Channels anymore.

Billy C- I hate to actually brand it an Act, but when you see the sequence of events as they happened in real time (realizing he's talking to Shaw BEFORE he ever talked to Gray) and some of the reactions and comments, not just from him but the people dealing with him immediately after, then it doesn't totally jive with just being disoriented from the blow.

I really didn't expect it from Calzaghe either, but what was REALLY stunning was the cavalier way he discussed it with the Reporter that broke the Story.
