After last night there is no way I can phatom Devon Alexander beating Timothy Bradley....Yes maybe there was the pressure of the spotlight that got to him...Trying to look sprectacular and just going out to do your job are 2 different things...That spotlight pressure ESPECIALLY IN ST LOUIS (JUST ASK CORY SPINKS)...Can get to a fighter..,..But after looking at the fits AK gave Alexander last night I don't see Devon beating Timothy Bradley....
Alexander does not like pressure, Alexander does not like to have to fight, Alexander does not like a fighter he can not shake off of him......
Bradley will press him like a button...Bradley will not give Alexander a moment to regroup and will force him to fight 3 minutes of every round.....Alexander CAN not keep Bradley off of him with flashes of combos to keep Bradley at bay then regroup....
Bradley will punch punch punch, press press press, and fight fight fight.....
Unlike Alexander in his corner last night who looked like he wanted to run away or have it turn to WWE rules and tag in Gayweather....Bradley is cool under pressure....
No I am sorry....Devon Alexander is NOT the best b140lb fighter in the world

Well said, Daxx. The anticipation for Bradley-Alexander took a big hit last night. I hope they only made up one of those I Want Bradley T-shirts because Devon's the only one considering wearing it now It's still a good fight that we want to see, but Gary Shaw's price went up, I don't think you can sell it as a split anymore, even Don. HBO's bidding price probably dropped.

Yeah when I seen that t-shit I almost spit out my soda....I was like Three rounds ago this kid was looking over at Floyd hoping he would tag in for a few rounds now he is holding up Bradley t-shirts? Bradley is no Kotelnik (However you spell the kids name)...While AK is a decent fighter he does not have the skillset of TB...
I am not on Bradleys xmas card list but right now Bradley vs Kahn is more of what the fight to decide the divisions best is what is to be made....Speaking of Kahn while I am not a big fan of the kids and he does have a soft chin if he fought Devon and landed half the shots AK did Alexander would have been looking up at the lights

While Alexander didn't look the greatest last night it's hard to bad mouth him considering Kotelnik beat Maidana and also the Khan/Kotelnik fight was much closer than the Manchester judging would lead you to believe.
I think Alexander vs. Bradley is pretty even ... I thought Abregu had as many moments against Bradley as Kotelnik had against Alexander and Kotelnik is a much better fighter than Abregu.
I guess you always have to be 100% or people will jump off your bandwagon.
I do think Khan will continue to avoid Bradley & Alexander both though.

Well for one I was never on his BANDwagon or any other fighters I go by what I see I will bash my favorite fighters as you will see in time if they perform like shit....Alexander showed last night many many flaws...More then what should have been shown considering all that was hyped up about him...At times the right opp at the right time can make you seem better then what you are.... Anyone who thinks that KLahn walked over Kotelnik either did not see the fight or knows nothing of what they speak...Abregu was also a loot bigger then TB 4 inches or so plus he is a natural WW who also has one hell of a punch...Bradley did not struggle with him if he did then i need to see the footage not shown live that night..... The things wrong with Alexander have less to do with how he fought then how he reacted and adjusted big big difference

A stiff wind could drop Abregu and he was never hurt by Bradley. So I question if Bradley has any power at all. Clearly Alexander has more power and just as much speed. I just don't see how someone can say they can't picture Alexander beating Bradley.
Nothing I saw last night makes me think it is anything but a 50/50 fight.

He beats guys by volume and by adjusting, plus he is a very good counter puncher and dealing with counter punchers is not something Alexander is good at last night proved it....Alexander is good what fighting guys who don't fight back enough...EG Urango who has the punch output of about 30 per round....Bradley is on you all night long... The less then 40% KO ratio would say no one expects a KO over Devon

Once again Alexander is faster and has more power ... Bradley struggled with Witter, Alexander pretty much destroyed him. Just because Alexander had one off night doesn't change that him vs. Bradley is a 50/50 fight.
So now it's not bad enough that boxing "fans" are writing off guys who lose a fight but they seem to be writing off guys who have one bad performance even if they still win.

One fight against Urango, with a bad shoulder, makes Alexander have more power than Bradley? LOL I saw a fly here in the Adirondacks that hits harder that Alexander. Bradley will have some trouble with his speed....for the first round. Bradley is the best 140 lb-er out there.

Actually, it prevented him from following up with more than one punch at a time and it left him open. I wish you WOULD learn something about boxing Mike. But since you like to assume things, I should not be surprised. I even went back and listened to the show to see if I did say something as stupid as that, and I didn't. I guess its just you. Keep up the good work my man! You are helping me start to agree with the masses about this sport and wonder if its even worth the hassle because of so called fans like you.

Am I wrong for wanting to hit that joke Herald Leaderman over the head wit a brick, for how he scored that fight?
What an HBO whore! Any HBO fighter will get a great score on Leaerman's score card no matter how bad they're getting their ass beat.
I think he only gave 3 rounds to Kotelnik.... Are you kidding me!
I'll just end with this.... Alexander was lucky he faught that fight in his home town... on HBO too.
