Btw, I thought I'd also mention that although I have Hopkins 8th, I don't like his chances head-to-head with a LOT of Middleweights who don't make the list, for example in a matchup with at least three fellow Philly Middles, Benny Briscoe, Tyrone Everett, and Marvin Hart.

Interestingly enough, when I first came out with this list, the majority of the complaints didn't deal with Hopkins, but instead with my only having Marvin Hagler at 6th. The consensus seemed to feel he belonged in the Top 3.

LOL...no way. Don't ge me wrong, but he is not top 3. That is based on the AGE of the people who are saying it. How could he be ranked higher then Ketchel, Greb, Burley and more on my list. I have him at 10 or 12....ALL TIME.

I have him at 10 or 12....ALL TIME. I don't know if you can blame age, BC. That's an argument that you make when someone current is rated too highly (like if a teenage fan had Mayweather #1 ATG or something of that nature). But Marvin Hagler HAS BEEN RETIRED FOR 25 YEARS (1987) and the people putting him at #3 are middle-age guys and older.
