It'll be interesting not just for the number of fans that will be cheering for Froch, but how well Bute handles not having 17,000 wildly cheering his every move, which has been the case most of his career. They say that they've been working on that in Bute's Camp, but I don't care what kind of sound speakers you set up and what you play on them, you simply aren't going to be able to simulate the real thing, or the feeling you get when you realize the only friends you have are in your corner. I'll be very impressed if Bute can put that out of his mind after fighting his entire career in Quebec (with the exception of a couple fights in Romania and a couple VERY EARLY fights in the States).
I know everyone thinks I hate Bute, but it would certainly be better for the division if Lucien wins, a Froch win would mean Andre Ward stands alone, even if Bute were to take the rematch. We have nearly three years invested in the SMW Division, it'd be a shame to see it come to an end Saturday night without the Ward-Bute conclusion that we always assumed lay at the end of the line.

Who are you Foolin Murph? You DO hate Bute!
I do think that Bute WOULD take the rematch if he loses tomorrow night....I also think the crowd is a lot easier to handle then for other sports....unless you have to crawl under the ring to hide from the fans that want to kill you....
GREAT point on the "investment in the SMW division" ....I agree but like they always say... "may the BEST man win"....then we can see where we are at early Sunday morning...I think Bute KOs Froch.

man, this is a very tough fight for Bute in my opinion. He has not really been at this level of competition yet. You can say Glen Johnson..but at his advanced age and all the wear and tear, who knows what version of Johnson he faced last time out. Froch will take him deep and lets see how Bute handles the pressure. I wouldnt bet a nickel on this one. I think Bute will most likely win a decision....but it will be intersting

Then again we could say that because of his tough level of opp...Froch has miles on him...plus he is really no spring chicken. I still say Bute wins by KO...and we may even see Froch age before our eyes!

Ive seen nothing from Froch to make me think that he will be KO'd by Bute.
The best thing for the sport would be for Bute to knock his ass out, thats for sure.

You know, it's funny, but I actually think Bute should exercise that rematch clause. I know it sounds crazy, but at 32-years old, we aren't talking a young kid who can go back to school and learn things to make himself a whole lot better, and with the first fight being so decisive, the expectations for Bute if they met again in Montreal would be extremely low (and thus easy to exceed). If he simply was competitive at all, then he'd come out looking pretty good. If they try to retool, it'll take time and there's also no guarantee they can change enough to make it worthwhile. Not sure confidence builders are the answer......and worst of all, he might actually pick up another loss along the line against someone else, which would be devastating.
