Your good nature and spirit leaves us with nothing but fond memories and the pleasure of knowing you was all ours. Goodbye, My Friend, hopefully we meet again in a better place, where I know you await. R.I.P. David Allen.

I'm sure he will have a front-row seat! He was a GREAT guy! I certainly will miss him too and the fun he added to our show.

I'm sure he will have a front-row seat! He was a GREAT guy! I certainly will miss him too and the fun he added to our show. BC- Your mentioning front-row seats reminded me of this story DA once told me, which I'm going to post here and also on my Facebook page. As many of you know, our Ringnews24 and Talkinboxing with Billy C. Family recently lost our good friend David Allen from the UK, who died in his sleep early Monday morning. One story that I thought typified David Allen was when he mentioned that years ago he'd visited a friend in Chicago and been taken to a crowded Sunday baseball game at Wrigley Field. His friend was explaining the game to him but he could tell that after batting practice and just one inning that David found it boring and wasn't enjoying it, and didn't want to keep him there for another 2.5 hours, despite having excellent seats behind home plate (which David described in his story as being "prime seats, directly behind where the Striker attempts to make contact" ;D). Anyway, on their way out, because it had just started, there were still a few people waiting in line to get tickets. David looks at his ticket stubs and asks his friend "Are these still good to get back in, even though we've walked out?", not realizing what he had in mind, his friend assured him they were and if he wanted to go back inside, they could. David promptly walks over to a man in line with his young son wearing a baseball glove and hoping to get one of the remaining seats out in the bleachers..........and just like that, Father and Son had the best seats in the house. To me, that was vintage David Allen, always thinking of others.
