Well boys, it only seems like the other week when I was posting on here about heading out to your country to work on a special needs camp. Now I'm here 2 months on, with 4 days left on camp, having had a great time and experience. However, the fun continues. I have 3 weeks or so before I go back to Uni, and my flight home is Sept 6th. All I have planned thus far is 4 nights in New York from Aug 22nd. I need to return to New York for my flight, but what I do before then I don't know!!
It has gone so quick! Hopefully there will be a few boxing cards I can catch on a Friday/Saturday night in a bar during my two weeks travel!
Just looked through the boxrec schedule and we are in the middle of the "close season" in the UK, and there aint much going on over here either or globally until Sept 11. Oh well. Still I will enjoy New York, Washington and wherever else I venture to after camp :-)
The kids have been great, and its been a great start to my teaching career. But I am ready to leave now!

Ton- Experiences like this will have wonderful last memories, and it's great your teaching career is off to a great start, but like even a Vacation where it's ALL fun, at the end of it your simply wanting to get home. I hope you enjoy the remaining time in our country and the sightseeing, but I now your anxious to get home now that the Premier League Season has begun

Cheers Murph, I will make sure I enjoy my final two weeks here in the US. I am indeed anxious to get home and to a few of the games. I've managed to stream two matches in the last two days while camp has been quiet with kids on trips, so I've got a small fix of football! And United got off to a good start, which is one of the games I saw!!

Ton- LOL, isn't the internet wonderful. Even out in a secluded part of the U.S. (which isn't exactly the hot spot on the Globe for soccer to begin with) an Englishman can STILL find his Football

LOL!

Any chance of you coming down to Louisville? If it is a Tuesday/Wednesday or Saturday/Sunday we can find a bar and then hit the Muhammed Ali Museum ....

Hey Mike, I was all geared up for a mammoth tour of the Eastern-Central states after camp, but I ended up getting into University after all. So that's cut my travel time to two weeks! Sorry dude, but I would have loved to have done that with ya man! Will have to come back over here, I've loved it!
