My biggest fear is that boxing is going to turn into the same thing as the MMA/UFC bullshit. I wonder .... what if King or Arum pulled a Dana White model? Forget the WBA, IBF, etc. and signed a revolving roster of top boxers to fight for house titles (KBC? ABF?) This is probably because I'm a new fan, but I see the #1 problem with the sport is making it more entry level-friendly. One of the problems I'm having is that I don't know what all these titles mean and which ones are important. Also, outside the Super Six, it is hard to follow a fighter's career from fight to fight, to get to know and to get behind the fighters.

While it would hurt the sport as whole because it would limit the ability to make matches since some promoters only have lets say 2 HWTS on their roster it would certainly clear up a bunch of bullshit in the sport and maybe get rid of some of the bogus bullshit belts like Diamond or Super World making it easier to keep tract of the champions that are legit the screw the org's out of bogus sanctioning fees

They WANT you to be confused, to beleive that all these so called Title fights are ALL important. When some of us were younger ourselves, you could actually name all the World Champions, there were only two organizations, the WBC and the WBA, and in some cases one fighter actually held both titles in their particular division. It didn't take much to know all the Champions. If I was a young fan today, I'd never be able to keep this mess all straight. I look at anybody who can name all the Champions today, especially with this Interim Nonsense now, would simply suggest they need to get some help ;D They've made the term "World Champion" about as valuable as calling someone "Mister"
