Congrats to Billy C. for being as Brilliant as I was in taking Segura over Calderon. In other words, I'm simply too modest to post a note tooting my own horn for making the pick, and this is my roundabout way of patting myself on the Back

I agree Murph. You are no less than GREAT for YOUR pick of Segura. I will add that not only did he win, he THRASHED Calderon! I hope there was actually more than just you and I smart enough to pick him....but sadley....everyone who is part of the show seemed to go with the much better boxer....LOL.

If you've ever been with me on the few occassions I've actually gone to the Horse Track (both times it was Arlington, just outside Chicago) then you'd know that my picking any winning Horse, is a miracle. I usually bet on the Horse who's name should be changed to Glue To Be One of my College Buddies, after seeing my ablity for Picking the Ponies for an entire afternoon, said "if Dave bet on a One Horse Race, the poor thing would break down and have to be shot before finishing the Race"

Wouldn't mind a copy of this if at all possible. Was shocked seeing the result given the Calderon hype and all!
So how is this Segura lad? P4Per in the making?

Ton- He's wildly aggressive, but it's mostly that he never stops coming. No, he's NEVER going to be a P4P'er, but just a guy who's exciting to watch while he's around. Had this been a Ivan Calderon of just two or three years ago, when he still had the legs to be able to get out of the way, it would've been a different fight.

Was a good fight no doubt, if I didn't know the result I'd have been a bit surprised at Calderon sitting it out, I think the body shots really took a toll on him though & were stopping him getting out the way, Segura's just a punching machine, guy doesn't stop!
Oh & what age is Colonel Bob, can't be far off a heart attack surely, it was a good fight and all but fuck sake!
If the two guys who asked for the fight want a dvd copy I'd gladly send you one, I'm not fucking about converting to avi then uploading & all that bollocks though!
