Well things are just falling apart for the S6 quicker then Mayweathers public appeal aren't they...Kessler, Taylor, Then they pulled the practical joke by adding Green....The allowed billing for AD/AW to be put out for Sept 25th when not happening.....Now Froch hurt?.....
I will be honest I don't think Froch wants to fight AA...He was complaining on the Show about fighting him and stated that unless in England he did not want to fight etc so I have to question the injury...Not saying he is not hurt just that I think he may be milking it for more then what it is as a way to postpone things....Hopefully end in a venue change for him?

Daxx i have got to agree with you on this, i dont think Froch wants this fight also if its not in the Uk.He needs the crowd behind him as he knows this will be a very tough fight and he is the underdog.

didn't I say that neither fight would come off? Froch wasn't happy about anything that had to do with the Abraham fight ... when it appears that the Ward/Dirrell fight will never happen I was positive this fight wouldn't happen either.
The Super Six was a good idea but next time it needs to be a tourney and not a round robin ... I think they should go with 8 also. If they go with a round robin then the promoters need to have a clear backup fighter in case one of theirs goes down and maybe a promoter score instead of a fighter score so when a replacement is made the replacement isn't just a lame duck.

It is more or less his actions that make me think so....I undertand that when he said it he was still ticked about what happened in the Kessler fight and he was feeling like he was robbed etc...Yet from the words of "If my fight with Abraham is not in England I won't fight, I'll drop out of the tournament I am not getting robbed again"....He said this on Fight Camp 360 the words are almost exact......I hope he has cooled off since then and this is not a case of him acting on what he said prior.... Add Mick Hennessey to the mix and you really have to question it....

If they go with a round robin then the promoters need to have a clear backup fighter in case one of theirs goes down and maybe a promoter score instead of a fighter score so when a replacement is made the replacement isn't just a lame duck. At the outset, I thought there would be fear of multiple losses, but what I didn't expect was for it to be from people that were 1-1, which everyone but Ward is. I think we all knew that Green was a shit replacement, and we also knew that Taylor wasn't long for the S-6. That was their backup plan, so I would argue that they had one in place, just not a very good one The problem is tying up fighters for up to a year and a half. Up to five fights is a big chunk. I've heard many people the last couple days calling this a failed experiment and a total flop. I think they need to step back and take a look at the whole picture here. In 10 months, we've seen Ward-Kessler, Froch-Dirrell, Direll-Abraham, and Kessler-Froch. It's kind of hard to brand that as a BAD thing, even if the Ship stops here. I disagree with you in that I think the two fights WILL happen, Showtime Lawyers are going to see to that, but we've also learned that simple single elimination is the way to go, they tried to do too much here. Let's wait and see what transpires, I know that we're not going to see S-6 happening in a bunch of divisions like we hoped, but we were Dreamers back then. But I still see the two fights happening, and the finale where the winner lifts that big Silver Trophy while confetti comes down, and we all smile and say "it was rough getting here, but that sure was fun". Perhaps I'm STILL dreaming

Froch is a chicken shit! What we have here is simple....fighters of today do not want to fight REAL FIGHTS! I am SO pissed about this...especially considering how Froch acts....like he is so great...I have lost ALL respect for him. Come on....these guys LOOK for ways out. We wonder why boxing is in trouble...we wonder why networks stay away from them....THIS is why. Honestly...I can't blame them (the networks and fans!).
Froch is another chicken shit English fighter....they talk the talk but can't back it up...Haye vs. Harrision....hopefully Haye won't break a nail or stub a toe to prevent this joke of a fight from happening....
Say what you want about the Klitschkos....but THEY come to fight and NEVER have excuses.
Froch wanted no part of a real fighter with power....

All the rest aside...I will say you are right about that...Froch with his HORRIBLE defense would end up out cold against AA....AA keeps those hands up so high and takes such a good punch he will eat anything Froch offers up and the return will be devastating!!!.....I truly believe Froch knows he will end up looking into the DR's penlight and if hed is not in England he may fail the question test..........Froch attitude is a shitty one so it does make it hard to like him....Not too many guys want real fights you are right.....I can name 5 fighters off the top of the head who will come in and dogfight anytime with no BS and that is sad for the sport....You are right about the K2 they have no excuses and come to do their jobs...Vitali will fight you in an alley, Phone Booth, Roof Top you name it he will fight you there....Wlad will always come in shape ready for business even in losses he has little to say......Again fighters like that do not come along often.....David Haye knows this...David Haye is no idiot he has seen tape and past fights of the brothers...He has seen men like McCline, Mercer, Botha, Castillio, Byrd all hit the deck...All with better chins then him all never the same after they fought him...He has spoken to Danny Wiloiams and LL about the toughness of Vitali and has seen the way Arreola, Gomez, Peter, Sosnowski, Johnson Sanders, Bean were all manhandled he is not idiot,,,,He wants nothing of it and I can almost not blame him,,,But he is a big mouth and talks too much shit so I can not even say he is avoiding the fights to make money and to make a decent run before facing a K2....He is just SCARED...That is not acceptable

Don't get too dejected...You still have Amir Kahn, Kell Brook, Paul McCloskey and John Murray....All tjhose fellows are still on good runs most undefeated Unfortunately I am not too inspired by this lot! Khan I have a hate for - he will be beaten by Bradley and Alexander (He'll probably jump divisions to avoid them) Kell Brook has so much talent, but the kid has been supposed to be fighting Michael Jennings for about 2 years now and it keeps getting cancelled. Also heard his attitude to training is shit and he believes in his hype a little too much. So I don't hold much faith in the kid. And frankly, if he is so cocky already in his career, I will be hoping to see him kayo'd sooner rather than later no doubt. McCloskey, decent guy but dunno if he makes it at world level. Really like John Murray, he does the basics well but nothing exceptional. Again not sure how far he can go. He maybe competitive at world level but needs to get busier again. Also sometimes seems a bit "robotic" and little head movement. Could be a problem as he steps up. Nathan Cleverly is the main Brit to be watching, especially in a somewhat featureless light-heavyweight division. Other than that there isn't much else worth shouting about unfortunately.

I don't know if he is a chicken shit but with the whole thing falling apart and the Ward/Dirrell fight not happening ... he might be thinking why should I go away from home to fight Abraham when no one else in the S6 is honoring the rules.
If Ward/Dirrell gets back on the table (which IMO has about a .5% chance of happening) then maybe Froch/Abraham happens

The bottom line is that fighters of today do NOT want to fight the best out there. The S6 was supposed to be the BEST SMW's out there...that can be argued, but what has un-folded in the past month....to me...shows that there are A LOT of fighters either chicken shit...or just not willing to engage in real fights.

So does every other team in every otehr sport....but that doesn't happen, does it, so why the F should a fighter, an ordinary one at that, feel he can? The fight game has really become a joke.
