Haye calls out Vitali
"I'll smash his jaw," boasts former WBA champion
David Haye looks set to delay his retirement plans in order to face WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.
Haye has been keeping a low profile since losing his WBA crown to the Ukrainian's younger brother Wladimir in a lacklustre points defeat in July.
The Londoner was ridiculed by many after he failed to live up to his pre-fight boasts and blamed his poor performance on a broken little toe sustained in training.
However, the former cruiserweight king now appears keen to box on beyond his 31st birthday after Vitali threw down the gauntlet following his 10 round win over Tomasz Adamek at the weekend.
"I'll knock him out, I'll smash his jaw," Haye told German daily Die Welt. "Vitali, I'll fight you, if you are man enough.
"It doesn't matter to me where I fight you, I'll fight you on the moon," added Haye in response to Vitali's desire to fight at Wembley Stadium.
"He has my contact details, I'm waiting for him. No fight at heavyweight would generate more publicity than Haye against the old Klitschko.
"I am the most popular heavyweight on the planet and with me he will earn the most money."

I'm split on what i want to happen. Haye wants this fight for nothing other than money (that's just obvious). He did nothing against Wlad and i think Vitali would be really up for getting the KO in this one so can't see Haye having any success in this one either. So overall it won't be a competitive fight and Haye will earn millions he doesn't deserve.
On the other hand, Haye is now my least favourite British boxer of all time. His gob makes Naseem Hamed look genuinely polite. Saying he will KO Vitali only weeks after Wladimir beat him with one arm and then making excuses about his toe afterwards is really just too much.
If he retires i don't care but if he does fight on then i'd rather it be against Vitali who can finally shut him up.

HAYE should not be given ANY fast track to a bid for a title NOR a payday. This guy is what is bad about the sport. Like everyone else...in boxing AND LIFE...he has to earn it. He has proved nothing to me that he deserves a second chance...shit, I didn't think he should have gotten the first one!

Who cares who Haye calls out?
Not I!
Vitali will Kick his A@$!
I would like to see Haye fight a guy his own size... Ademek, maybe?
I don't know why, but I've been thinking about a fight between Haye and Ademek, since Ademek lost to Vitali. That would be a good fight.

NOW you are talking Duane! Force Haye to fight Adamek...or even Arreola and THEN IF he wins...a rematch. Thats the way to some what "earn" another shot.

It's pretty amazing the balls David Haye has. In his mind, it's as if that turd of a non-effort against Wlad is all forgotten and his Fertilizer Spreading Business is back in full swing.
