Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer advised BoxingScene.com that undefeated super featherweight contender Adrien Broner (21-0, 17KOs) will still fight on the HBO televised date of November 26th in Cincinnati. Originally, Broner was scheduled to face WBO champion Ricky Burns (39-2, 9KOs) - but the Scottish boxer vacated his title and plans to face Michael Katsidis in a WBO interim-lightweight title bout on November 11th.
There has been some discussion about Broner facing another Golden Boy promoted boxer, Eloy Perez (22-0, 6KOs), but there may not be enough money on the table to make that fight happen. Perez's team is reportedly asking for a sizable sum.
"Adrien Broner will still fight on November 26 for the vacant WBO title. I'm speaking with [WBO President] Paco [Valcarcel] to find out who they would approve [to fight Broner for the title]," Schaefer told BoxingScene.com.

Makes sense Broner should get a shot at the vacant title. With Burns gone and not much else going on at 130lbs i can't even see Broner sticking around there for long. There's Takashi Uchiyama and Takahiro Ao but what are the chances of them fighting in the USA or Broner in Japan? Probably not a lot.
It looks like Broner will be fighting Eloy Perez for the vacant title. I think whoever wins might want to think about moving up or down in weight. Or perhaps luring some of the featherweights to move up a weight.
