Pretty sure that the California Commission, once it's cheif benefactor Golden Boy makes it's appeal, will lift the loss off of Bernard Hopkins record and replace it with a No Contest. Do you think Chad Dawson's win will remain standing or do you also expect it to be taken down?

I think the the WBC will be the ones who force a rematch. That will keep the CA off the hook, make Chad show us something other than a WWF move and give B-Hop his "extra check" he thought was going to happen when he "got hurt".

You might be right, for Dawson the appeal was the title and not necessarily fighting Hopkins, so certainly if they want to force a rematch then all they have to do is take the belt away or mandate a rematch for him to hold onto it. He wants to rematch with Pascal, but I doubt he'd give up the title to do it. |

Then again...who cares about the belts? Remember...it was the belts that put Chad into four OTHER boring fights that ruined his rep...at least to me! Its the reason I have no interest in Chad Dawson

I would like Chad to move on keep the same motivation minus the new (Does this remind you of Tyson circa 1993) attitude blowing up at the crowd...Beat either Cloud, Pascal or even Cleverly in style and make fans forget the whole incident.....What I would like to see and what happens are usually 2 different things when it comes to boxing
The WBC will do its best to accomidate Hopkins and crew,,,Without making themselves looking too unfavorable with the CA commission...As if they care...The WBC has a GBP tramp stamp on their backs

Its the reason I have no interest in Chad Dawson Well, it was Gary Shaw that put him into those boring fights  But seriously, I think it was less the Belt than it was becoming a "HBO House Fighter", which was a status that he was preminently worried about and for which he fought a safety-at-all-cost approach to maintain (IMO). I do think that for Dawson, the belt is a major thing in terms of marketing, but that's probably because he's lacking charisma without a Belt to point to. |

The other Lt HW's need to ignore him! I agree that Ca will simply sit on it's hands and let the WBC take Golden Boy's Cash to order a rematch. Golden Boy will get HBO to wave a few bucks under Shaw's nose and he'll do what he always does, sell out, cash the Network check, and bow out of the scene and let HBO/Golden Boy promote. I'm 99% we'll have to endure a rematch on this one, let's hope they can make it promptly and we can move past Bernard Hopkins and get to three better fights you mentioned..... |

I think Dawson should laugh and try to secure a fight with one of the other three Champions and say SCREW YOU to B-Hop, WBC, GBP, etc, etc, etc.

Its about time the Boxers said in unison stuff your plastic belts,all the sanction fee's its costing the boxers.They could go to Wallmart and pick up one for small change,its time all this crap stopped.

We need Promoters who can promote and don't feel like they HAVE to have a Belt to appease the Network, and then a Network that realizes how damn little the term "World Champion" means anymore, and then maybe, just MAYBE, the whole bunch can quite paying to the Orgs for nothing. |
