Why put FNF on Saturday Night, one hour after the PPV starts? Is anybody really going to watch Demetrius Andrade and not the PPV? Sounds to me like they're making an attempt to screw with Mayweather/ Golden Boy for no apparent reason, how many Buys do you think it will cost them, ESPN? Why is our sport the only one where people try to screw with each other like that, at the expense of the sport?

I hate when t hey do that...AND what a dumb news. I watched the replay of the card on ESPN3. Not only was the Andrade fight a waste of our time, but the interview after it was laughable. Now we don't have an FNF this week, after such a great season in 2011, they're kind of dropping the ball this year.

they should just drop the series...then maybe someone else will pick it up (a FNF series) on their own network!

they should just drop the series...then maybe someone else will pick it up (a FNF series) on their own network! Yeah, I just don't understand it. We had such a fantastic season last year and their response was to give us shlock in 2012, I continue to be buffaloed by ESPN Boxing coverage, they seemingly want to be a player in the sport, but only on the coverage end of things, not their actual broadcasts themselves. They're tightwads and seek out promoters accordingly. One thing that would come of doing exactly what you say and letting someone else run it would an end to shuttling FNF around whenever it's convenient, whether that means last weeks foolish move to Saturday or the constant delays we see due to other ESPN programming.
